You can also use our A-Z title finder below to find contact details for the publisher of a magazine. If your question is specific to an order however, we always recommend using the order tracker.

  • Placing an order
    • When will I receive my first issue?

      Once you've placed your order you will receive an order confirmation via email from magazine.co.uk, usually within a few minutes (do check your Junk folder if you don't receive an email from 'no-reply@magazine.co.uk' within 24 hours). You will then typically receive another email/letter directly from the publisher within four weeks of placing your order confirming when your first issue will be delivered. You will typically receive your first issue within four to eight weeks of your order being placed.

      Please note that delivery time varies depending on the frequency of the magazine (i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly). For weekly publications please allow two to four weeks for your first issue to arrive. For monthly publications allow four to six weeks (some publishers, such as Time and National Geographic, have longer lead times which means your delivery could take longer too). Finally, for bi-monthly publications please allow six to eight weeks for your first delivery. Any free gift offered with your subscription will be dispatched and sent separately and will not arrive with the first issue of your subscription.

    • Can I send a magazine subscription as a gift?

      Yes. Simply tick the 'This is a gift' option when adding your chosen magazine to the basket. 

      You can also choose from a variety of designs in our FREE Gift Card Creator to print or email a personalised message to send to the recipient of your gift subscription.

    • How will you acknowledge my subscription?

      Once you've placed your order you will receive a confirmation email from magazine.co.uk, usually within a few minutes (do check your Junk folder for 'no-reply@magazine.co.uk' if you don't receive this email within 24 hours). You will typically then receive another email/letter directly from the publisher within four weeks confirming the order and telling you when you will receive your first issue.

    • What issue will my subscription start with? Can I specify an issue?

      Your subscription will start with the next available issue after the publisher has processed your order.

This will provide you with the most appropriate contact details, along with information to help the publisher identify your order quickly.

    • I've received a discount code. How do I use it?
      • Select the magazine subscription you want (non-Direct Debit subscription offers only).
      • Enter your contact details for the subscription
      • Enter the discount code in the promotional code box at the top of the payment page
      • Confirm your payment details then the discount will appear in the checkout page

    • Can I make an order by telephone?

      We do not currently take orders by telephone sadly. Please place your order online through the magazine.co.uk site.

    • Can I buy a single copy / back issue?

      We don't sell single copies at magazine.co.uk, however, digital single issues can be purchased via our sister site pocketmags.com With 1000s of magazine titles, we have the largest selection of niche digital magazines in the world. If you are unable to find what you are looking for, please contact the publisher directly for assistance.

  • Delivery
    • Where will the magazines be sent from?

      All magazines are sent directly from the publisher's mailing house (not from magazine.co.uk).

    • Do you offer international delivery?

      We do offer overseas delivery (Excluding Europe) on some magazines featured on magazine.co.uk, but not all. Where we offer them, you will find prices listed in the International Delivery offers category.

    • How much is delivery? / Is delivery included in the price?

      Delivery is FREE on all subscriptions. 

      Please note that delivery charges do apply to physical gift card purchases.

    • What is the delivery process?

      Once an order is placed these are supplied to the publisher or their subscription bureau who looks after the fulfilment and delivery of your subscription. They add you to the subscriber list for the first issue to be published after your order is processed, and handle the subscription from that point onwards. Typically this means that for a weekly or monthly title, you will receive your first issue within 2 to 6 weeks. Thereafter you will receive new issues as they are released for the duration of your subscription, and usually before they are available in the shops.

      If you're ever concerned about a delivery you can contact the publisher. You will find their contact details on your confirmation email (in the Delivery Information section), using our Order Tracker, inside your magazine, or with the details received each month with the magazine.  Alternatively, you can find the publisher's contact details using the A-Z search function above.

    • I am having a problem related to delivery

      Usually the first issue will be sent to you within four to eight weeks after your order is placed. The length of time depends on the frequency of the magazine (i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly) and when the next issue is scheduled. If after eight weeks you still haven't received your magazine, we would advise contacting the publisher.

      To do this we recommend entering your order details into our Order Tracker, then clicking ‘I would like to contact someone about my subscription’. This will provide you with the most appropriate contact details, along with information that will help the publisher to identify your order.

      You can also find publisher contact details on your confirmation email, (in the Delivery Information section), inside your magazine, and also on the covering letters you'll receive each month with the magazine. Alternatively, you can find the publisher's contact details using the A-Z search function in the 'How do I contact the publisher?' question above.

  • Payments
    • How can I pay for a subscription? Can I use Apple Pay / Google Pay?

      At magazine.co.uk, payment options depend on your chosen offer. You can pay using Direct Debit, PayPal, debit and credit cards (including American Express), gift cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

      Some magazines may not support all payment methods, as this is determined by the publisher.

      Each offer will specify whether it is available via Direct Debit (which renews automatically) or as a one-off payment using card options (e.g., Debit or Credit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Gift Cards). Direct Debit-specific offers cannot be purchased with a card.

    • How does Direct Debit work? How is it different from Credit Card?

      A direct debit is a secure and continuous payment method arranged between your bank and the relevant publisher so that a payment can be collected on a specific date. The money is then automatically transferred on the agreed date. A Direct Debit can be cancelled ahead of the next payment to prevent further renewals. We recommend doing this directly with the publisher.

      For purchases through magazine.co.uk - a Direct Debit is a renewing payment that comes directly from your bank, a debit / credit card purchase is a one off purchase using your specific card details. 

      Each offer will specify whether it is available via Direct Debit (which renews automatically) or as a one-off payment using card options (e.g., Debit or Credit Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Gift Cards). Direct Debit-specific offers cannot be purchased with a card.

    • When will my direct debit be taken for my subscription?

      All direct debit payments are set up by the publishers and it may take up to four weeks for the bank to authorise the payments.

This will provide you with the most appropriate contact details, along with information to help the publisher identify your order quickly.

    • Is it safe to purchase online?

      Yes, completely. Any information you provide is encrypted using the latest Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology ensuring your details are safe and secure. We also meet the requirements of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI) which was created to ensure organisations that process card payments prevent fraud.

    • Can I request a VAT invoice?

      Magazines are VAT exempt and for that reason VAT invoices are not supplied. However your order confirmation can act as a valid receipt for your purchase.

    • How do I find a publication I'm looking for?

      You can use the search bar or the A-Z title finder just above. If you can't find the magazine you're looking for using either of these options, then we do not currently offer that magazine on the site. But please keep checking, we are always working hard to bring you more choices and continue to add new titles all the time.

    • What is Instant Digital Access? Who are Pocketmags?

      Instant access means that you can view the latest issue of your newly purchased subscription in digital format, to enjoy whilst you wait for your print edition to arrive. The Instant Access link will be available in your order confirmation and is provided by our sister site Pocketmags.

      Your free digital issue can be read on any device via your web browser. You also have the option to link the issue to a Pocketmags account and then read the issue through the Pocketmags website, or offline in the Pocketmags iOS or Google Play app.

    • My magazine has stopped publishing. What do I do?

      We're sorry to hear this. Please contact us at enquiries@magazine.co.uk with the name of the magazine and your order ID and we will investigate directly with the publisher.

    • Can I call by telephone with my query?

      At magazine.co.uk we do not currently provide phone support. Please contact us as follows:

  • Christmas FAQs
    • How do I order a magazine as a Christmas gift?

      Once you have decided which magazine you would like to order as a Christmas gift, there are two options:

      1. If a specific 'Christmas Gift Subscription Offer' is listed under the magazine, simply select this option and add to your basket.

      2. If there is no specific Christmas Gift offer listed, select the subscription offer you require and add it to your basket. Once it is in your basket you will be offered the opportunity to select either 'This is a gift. Send next available issue' or 'This is a Christmas gift. Deliver after Christmas'. Ensure you tick the Christmas gift option.

    • When will the Christmas gift subscription start?

      Your gift recipient will receive the first issue just after Christmas or in the New Year, start dates do differ from publisher to publisher and it will also depend on whether the subscription is for a weekly, monthly or lower frequency title.

    • Can I order a magazine.co.uk gift card as a Christmas gift?

      Absolutely. A magazine.co.uk gift card is an excellent gift choice as the recipient can choose to purchase any title they like from the huge variety of magazines we have to offer on magazine.co.uk as well as being able to include your own personalised message.

      You can either purchase an e-gift card which is sent by email or a physical gift card that is sent by post. You can select your chosen value for the gift card and then choose whether you would prefer for the card to be sent to you or the recipient directly.

    • How Do I redeem my magazine.co.uk Gift Card

      You can redeem your Gift Card with any of our subscriptions that are not Direct Debit offers. You will be prompted at the checkout to enter the gift code.     • How much is delivery?

      Delivery of all magazine subscriptions listed on magazine.co.uk is free. You will be charged extra for delivery of a physical gift card.

    • The Christmas gift subscription I want to order includes a free gift. Who will it be sent to and when?

      Unless stated on the product page, the free gift will be sent to the person you enter as the billing name and address. Please be aware that any free gifts are sent separately from the magazine and can take up to 12 weeks to arrive.

    • Do you send notification of the subscription to the recipient?

      No, we do not send a notification to the recipient of your Christmas gift subscription. You can however send the recipient a personalised e-card with our FREE Gift Card Creator and you can choose from a selection of designs.
