I love Look magazine, it's one of my favourites as the fashion and style seems a little more accessible. Don't get me wrong, I love the high fashion and glossy pages of Vogue, the photos are stunning and I get excited seeing that designer handbag. However Look is is a little more real, perfect for high street buys and seeing what street style is around too.
When I get a style block I always love flicking through magazines and trying to recreate the looks I see, both with items I may already have in my wardrobe and treating myself to something for the month- even if it's just from Primark or Dorothy Perkins. I love knowing the whole outfit, what I'll wear with what, and not just spending money on the odd skirt or top that I have nothing to pair with.
We all know London Fashion Week has been and gone (if you don't, where have you been!?) I never get too involved with what's going on with the catwalks, and instead I love seeing the street style. The bloggers, journalists and general fashion lovers that come out around the cobbles of Somerset House are great for inspiration and that's where I got mine from for this outfit.
I loved this outfit that one of the Look team wore to LFW. Stripes are my utter fav and noticing I had a baby blue coat that I don't get enough wear out of, I wear keen to style it up and get it off the hanger. As this outfit, for me, was for an afternoon walking Sev and grabbing some late breakfast at a dog-friendly cafe, I wanted it to be casual and easy. For this reason I decided to pair it with my cream trousers and Nike trainers, I think it all works so well, it's not an outfit I would of usually put together but I love the look.
